Roger Lane is currently the Interim Executive Director for the organization. He is a fundraising veteran with over 25 years of fundraising experience serving both church and para church organizations. He strives to do his best to help people and organizations reach their greatest potential. Roger brings a variety of life experience into his coaching, mentoring, and consulting.
I received my Bachelors degree in Mass Communications from Minnesota State University, Moorhead with a focus in Public Relations and Advertising. I’ve always been a strong advocate for helping seniors within communities, as my first job as a teenager was working in my local nursing home. I made immediate connections with all the residents.
My professional interests focus on the day to day operations of the Central Office as well as communicative approaches to keep affiliate members and volunteers up to date with new processes, technology, and safety policies and procedures.
Joe is President and COO of Veridocs, Inc., a software technology company specializing in the gaming industry. He is also a partner in Oprosko & Associates working on a part-time basis and has over 30 years of broad-based executive, accounting, consulting, audit, training, and financial business experience working with Veridocs, a large national consulting firm, a large second-tier national CPA firm, a large regional firm in New York City, and a small firm in Minnesota, primarily in financial Institutions, technology, gaming, Tribal operations, manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, publishing, and real estate.
Joe O’Kane was introduced to Let’s Go Fishing in 2016. He immediately volunteered to help further the LGF mission. In his professional life he works for LeadingAge MN, an association of senior care providers, and advises members in regards to employee benefits and insurance related issues.
I developed my passion for fishing from my Grand Parents and Father who took me fishing many times. They loved it and I developed that same love. I have a Master’s in Education and taught Biology, Chemistry and was in coaching for 5 years before I went into sales with World Book. I worked with them for 21 years and worked my way up to VP and then started my own company in 1997 and have a sales force in 8 states.
Seth practices in the areas of complex business transactions and litigation, trust and estate planning and litigation, ADR, and real estate matters. In litigated matters, he represents both plaintiffs and defendants, ranging from individuals and small business owners to Fortune 500 companies. His experience spans multiple industries and technologies including financial markets, e‐commerce, retail products, and medical devices. Seth leverages his background in economics and experience owning and operating numerous businesses to continually learn about his clients’ businesses, goals, and objectives, and translates this knowledge into value‐driven business solutions.
Andrea is a partner in Oprosko & Associates serving small to mid-sized business as their Controller or CFO for hire. She is also the CFO for an environmental consulting firm and serves on their executive management committee. She has over 30 years of broad-based accounting, consulting, audit and financial business experience working with a large national accounting firm, a large Midwestern regional accounting firm in the Chicago area, as a controller for a large agribusiness and a mid-size accounting firm in the Chicago area. Her time was primarily focused in manufacturing, agribusiness, construction contractors, real-estate developers, not-for-profit organizations, and employee benefit plans.
Tom loves being a dad to his four children, and husband to his amazingly patient wife Allison. You can sometimes recognize him coming since he was lucky enough to get the only “DAD” license plate in Minnesota.
He believes in giving back to help the community that has helped make him so fortunate. He does this by serving Let’s Go Fishing with Seniors with time and financial support, and performing pro bono financial planning work for those most in need. Growing up as an only child he spent a lot of time with grandparents, and developed an affinity for honoring his elders whenever possible.
Craig has been an advisor with Let‘s Go Fishing since 2008. He felt the need to take this experience to a higher level where he saw a growing need at all levels of services across the board. Working with Let’s Go Fishing provided motivation to improve the housing and care for seniors. Avant Private Communities became the answer to the delivery of a high degree of services and care to the seniors, not only to the physical needs of the residents, but most importantly to their spiritual and emotional well-being.
