Darci Mohr

Operations Director

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from Minnesota State University, Moorhead, with an emphasis in Public Relations and Advertising. My passion for working with and advocating for seniors began at a young age. My very first job as a teenager was working in my local nursing home, where I quickly discovered how meaningful it was to build relationships and make connections with the residents. That experience has stayed with me throughout my life and continues to influence the work I do today.

I have been part of the Let’s Go Fishing family since 2014 and currently serve as the Operations Director for the Central Office. My role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization while supporting our chapters and volunteers across the Let’s Go Fishing network. I especially enjoy finding effective ways to communicate new processes, technology, safety policies, and procedures so our chapters and volunteers have the tools and information they need to succeed.

What I love most about Let’s Go Fishing is the opportunity to be part of something that brings people together. Whether it’s a senior enjoying a day on the water, a veteran sharing stories with a volunteer, or a family creating memories together, the connections made through Let’s Go Fishing are what make this organization so special to me.

Outside of Let’s Go Fishing, my husband, Jerret, and I have been married for 25 years. We have three grown sons who are busy building lives of their own, but we still treasure the time we get to spend together as a family. Our weekends often include golfing, getting together at my parents’ lake cabin, or simply finding an excuse to spend time together. Family, relationships, and making memories are important parts of my life—and I’m grateful that my work with Let’s Go Fishing allows me to help create those same kinds of meaningful connections for others.
